Ultrasn0w (Ultrasnow) Unlocks iPhone 4, 3GS and 3G on iOS 4.0.1

iPhone Dev-Team just updated Ultrasn0w (Ultrasnow) for iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS/3G running iOS 4.0.1. For those who don’t know, Ultrasn0w is a tool which allows you to use any carrier with your iPhone. Here is a step by step guide to install Ultrasn0w:

Note: Ultrasn0w 1.0-1 works with the following models:

• iPhone4 baseband 01.59
• 3G/3GS basebands 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01 and 05.13.04

1. Jailbreak your iPhone
2. Open Cydia. Tap “Manage” on the bottom and then tap “Sources”.
3. Tap on “Edit” and then “Add”. When prompted for URL, enter http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com
4. Tap on “Add Source”.  Cydia will now update its database. It may take some time.
5. Search for “ultrasn0w 1.0-1” in Cydia and install it. This app will automatically unlock your iPhone so that you can use it with any carrier.
