Apple has released its final version of iOS 5.1 in today’s Apple iPad 3 event at Yerba Buena Center. Needless to say the new version of iOS is not unlocked and also comes with a new version of baseband 04.12.

– Audio for TV programs and films on iPad optimized to sound louder and clearer
– Podcast controls for playback speed and a 30-second rewind for iPad
– Addresses bugs affecting battery life
– Fixes and issue that occasionally caused audio to drop for outgoing calls
