Using multiple keyboards or mouse on the same computer is easy- just connect the devices and you are ready to go. But when it comes to controlling multiple computers using only one keyboard and mouse, things sure get tough. However, softwares like Synergy-Plus, a fork of Synergy2, makes it a breeze.
Synergy-Plus is very easy to setup. The Synergy-Plus fork team has a comprehensive list of instructions to setup Synergy-Plus. It is a freeware and runs on Windows XP and Vista, although Vista needs some special instruction which can be found here. There are separate forks also available for Mac OS X and Linux.
