• You cannot start regedit.exe.
• Folder options are disabled.

  %UserProfile%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\Empty.pif
  %UserProfile%\Templates\WowTumpeh.com
  %WINDIR%\%CURRENT_USER%’s Setting.scr
  %WINDIR%\ShellNew\bronstab.exe
• All these files have the size of the worm’s main executable: 42,028 bytes.

Removal Instructions

1. Download Brontok Removal utility from here
2. Let the autoscan complete.
   
3. Hit the “SCAN” button. Relax and have a coffee while it scans your computer.
4. Fix the problem once the scan is complete. The access to registry editor and folder options will be restored by the removal tool.
