RSS TO SMS CONVERTER: SEND RSS TO CELL PHONE
Internet | Reshadat | April 13, 2008 at 2:22 pmFor all the RSS addicts out there, here is a new Web App that can send posts from RSS feeds directly to your cell phone. Named Pingie, this service can send RSS feed updates as text message. This has some clear advantages from the traditional methods:
1) It does not require a data access plan or a GPRS enabled phone
2) No need to run any special software on cell phone

Pingie allows users to subscribe to an RSS feed and sends text messages on cell phone when the feed is updated. It’s free and can work with just about any mobile device. However it may not work with all the countries or network providers.
Have a look at Pingie yourself, and while you are at it, subscribe our RSS feed: http://feeds.technonix.com/technonix
