Microsoft Offers to Buy Yahoo for $44.6 Billion

Software giant Microsoft made an offer on Friday to buy Yahoo.The offer, for $31 a share in cash and stock, represents a 62% premium to Yahoo’s closing price on Thursday. This may pose stiff competition to Google which seems to be dominating currently ! Microsoft says that this deal would create a “more efficient and competitive company”.For us, Maybe we’ll see a new search engine that harness the power of both Yahoo and Live search Engines. However, this is just a guess. Lets see how this deal effect the end users like us! Hey MS-Yahoo ,We want a new search engine! :)
